The Gainsborough community has operated the theater since 1971 and the building’s interior ceiling and attic are in need of repairs and upgrades. Tundra’s support will ensure the theatre stays open to provide access to arts and culture with weekly movie screenings on Friday nights in the spring and summer.
The Hartney Community Rink is a hub for people of all ages. The Zamboni is an essential piece of equipment necessary for maintaining the ice surface which hosts curling, figure skating, and hockey activities Tundra is proud to support the Board with efforts to provide rink programming, maintenance, and operations.
Many Tundra employees and their families live in the Waskada area. The mini golf course is a new addition to the park, which provides the community with access to healthy activities. Tundra is proud to contribute $16,000 toward this project, which was initiated in 2023 by a group of local volunteers.
In March of 2024 Tundra, through the Richardson Foundation, pledged another four years of funding ($100,000) to the Souris River Watershed District.
