Tundra Renews Environmental Education Programming Partnership with Souris River Watershed District (SRWD)

In March of 2024 Tundra, through the Richardson Foundation, pledged another four years of funding ($100,000) to the Souris River Watershed District. Our long-standing partnership, which began in 2007, has positively impacted more than 7,600 youth and adults who benefit from environmental education programs offered by the SRWD. 

Most recently, Land & Water Days provided the opportunity for students from schools in the surrounding area to take part in activities like the critter dip where they learn about wetland creatures. They even got the chance to get up close with a Manitoba Burrowing Owl!
