Reston & Area Early Learning Centre Receives $5,000 for Playground Upgrades

The Reston & Area Early Learning Centre is enhancing its outdoor space to ensure children have a safe, high-quality environment to play and learn. Serving families from across the region, the centre identified that its well-used playground hill required upgrades to address safety concerns and improve usability.

With Tundra’s support, the project will remove aging turf, rebuild the surface, and install new materials designed to reduce hazards and create a more durable play area. The upgraded space will provide children with a safe place to engage in active, nature-based play while giving parents and caregivers confidence in their children’s environment.
